Welcome to Flawed Companions; the meeting place for pets with "flaws". We are Matthias, Vinnie and Marble. All three of us are flawed; one of us has Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper), one has a deformed spine, and the other has Cerebral Palsy. Can you guess which of us has which flaw? We choose to call ourselves "flawed" instead of disabled because, despite our flaws, we live each day to the best of our ability, overcoming odds that, not that many years ago, would have seen us euthanized. Times have changed! Modern veterinary medicine, assistive devices and knowledge have helped immensely in educating pet owners that such things as a missing limb, being blind or deaf, having FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), diabetes or hip displaysia don't mean that their pets' lives are over. With proper care and lots of TLC, we can provide you with love and companionship for years to come.
