"If my tears could build a stairway When my precious baby Zoë made her way to the Rainbow Bridge on June 1, 2001, I was devastated; I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye. Had it not been for the love and support of my veterinarian, friends, both close to home and on the internet, I'm sure I would have "lost it". I had started working on a pet loss section for the domain prior to losing Zoë, but it had been a "back burner" project until then. With the pain of loss still weighing heavily on my heart, I made Pet Loss Information and Resources, and Memories and Rainbows a priority, in the hopes that I might provide some insight for those who are being faced with the heart-wrenching decision of whether or not to euthanize, as well as for those who have already lost their precious furbaby. The poems, quotes, stories and tributes contained in these pages will hopefully bring some comfort to those in need, and help you to realize that you are not alone in your grief. If you have lost a pet and would like to have your furbaby's tribute included, please send an email to tributes@oznvoo.com with your tribute. Please include date of birth/adoption and date of loss. Attach a picture in either .jpg, .gif, .tif or .bmp format. If you do not have a scanner, let me know and I will provide a mailing address where you can send a picture to be scanned.
