Though time has healed my aching heart
Your memory lingers on
I love you still, and always will
My precious little one.
You were my life, you were my friend
In times both good and bad
You always knew just what to do
You made me smile when I was sad.
The day you left, I selfishly
wished that you could stay
Though deep in my heart, I knew you could not
So I helped you on your way.
Four years have passed, and still I see
An exceptionally bright star up above
The sight of that star puts a smile on my face
I know it's you showering me with your love.
