Hi! My name is Willow, and this is my webpage. I'm the fourth kitty to enter to the Rennie household. This is a picture of me at work on the computer. I'm another black kitty, just like Oz and Voodoo, but I have long hair (meowmie's cursing herself for that one - ha ha). I absolutely hate to be brushed or have my nails cut. I know it has to be done, but that doesn't stop me from screaming the whole time. My kitty meowmie was a feral cat and lived in a colony and that's where I was born. The other kitties in the colony didn't like me much though, so the man who fed us stuffed me into a cage and took me to see a lady who looks after another feral colony. The lady decided that since I had already been captured, she would put me inside in a large cage inside her office, so that (hopefully) I would become socialized. I was taken to a vet and spayed, dewormed, and given all my shots. Then I was brought back to the nice lady (Bev) and put back in the cage. Boy, did I cause a commotion! Eventually, I settled down and started letting Bev pet me, so she decided to let me out of the cage for short periods while she was there. I had a whole office to run around in and even the company of another kitty called Little Guy. My new meowmie helps Bev out with food for her feral colony, and when she saw me, she fell in love. She managed to talk daddy into letting her bring me home (but not before a trip to the vet to make sure I was healthy, etc.). Even though all of meowmie and daddy's kitties are rescues (in one way or another), they had never dealt with a semi-socialized feral kitty before. Boy, did they get a surprise! They were used to kitties that were friendly and loved to cuddle, but since I hadn't had that kind of attention before, I used to hiss when they tried to pet me. And they soon learned not to come near me when I was eating. After all, I was used to having to fight for my food! However, it didn't take too long before I had settled in nicely. Voodoo and Kissa started playing with me after only a few days, but it took Oz a lot longer to adjust to having another "little brat" in the house. We get along fine now though. You would have thought four kitties in one household would be enough, but no.........another kitty arrived on the scene. Her name is Zoë.
